One UI 7 Rollout Halted Due to a Critical Bug

Despite the official announcement, as of April 14th, many Vietnamese users of the S24 and S23 series reported not receiving the update. Their devices continued to display the message “Your software is up to date.”

This unexpected delay aligns with information leaked by reputable tech insider Ice Universe. Their post on X (formerly Twitter) stated, “Sudden! After the Korean Galaxy S24 series firmware was pushed, a serious bug was found, which led to the suspension of the push plan in all other countries, including China.”

Furthermore, the original announcement regarding the One UI 7 update schedule on Samsung Newsroom Vietnam has been removed, strengthening suspicions of a technical issue forcing Samsung to postpone the widespread rollout.

Vietnamese Users’ Anticipation and Frustration

The initial rollout of One UI 7 on April 7th in other markets, excluding Vietnam, caused disappointment among Vietnamese Samsung users. Many attempted to bypass the regional restrictions by using VPNs and repeatedly checking for updates, but to no avail.

Waiting for Official Confirmation

Currently, Samsung Vietnam has not released any official statement regarding the delay or a revised update schedule for One UI 7. Owners of the Galaxy S24, S23, and other supported devices will have to wait for further information. The delay is particularly frustrating for users eager to experience the improvements in interface, performance, and AI features promised by the One UI 7 update.
